All dog owners are divided into three types – Hobbies

Researchers from Hungary surveyed 800 dog owners and found that they all fell into three separate categories, Sports.kz reports with reference to the “Championship”.

The results of their scientific work are described by the Daily Mail.

“We identified three distinct profiles of owners whose dogs played different social and practical roles.”

Friendly colleague (31.1%). Sees the dog as a colleague/guard, but has a strong emotional connection with him. These are usually owners of border collies, Belgian or German shepherds.

Parent (49.5%). Communication as with a person, does not see practical functions in his pet. Usually owns boxers or dachshunds.

Companion (19.4%). He needs the dog for communication, but the person still maintains an emotional distance. Typically owns Mudi, English Cocker Spaniels or Labrador Retrievers.
