The Russian army broke through to Kupyansk: what the Armed Forces and the administration say
There are no Russians in the city, and the situation is completely under the control of the Defense Forces.
On November 13, it became known about the first attempt of the Russian Federation to invade the borders Kupianska, where fierce battles continue. The Ukrainian command confirmed that the Russians launched four waves of assaults, but all attacks were repulsed.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that from 14:30 on Wednesday, the Russian military began to make attempts to break through the Ukrainian defenses in the Kupyansk direction.
“Enemy assault groups attacked the positions of the Ukrainian defenders in four waves. In total, the enemy used about 15 pieces of equipment. In particular, tanks, armored combat vehicles and the UR-77 demining installation,” the General Staff said in a statement.
