An additional 0.9 GW of distributed generation has already been created in Ukraine – Derzhenergonadzor
As of the beginning of November, about 900 MW of additional reserve generation, distributed by region, was created in Ukraine.
This is stated in the notification of the State Energy Supervision Authority of Ukraine.
“According to information from the regional military administrations, the critical infrastructure is currently provided with alternative individual power sources at a fairly high level. About 900 MW of the capacity of such energy sources have already been installed at critical infrastructure facilities,” said Anatoliy Zamulko, head of the State Energy Inspectorate.
This additional generation will be switched on to power critical infrastructure facilities during possible blackouts.
