4,500 per month: new social assistance is being prepared for Ukrainians


The most vulnerable categories of Ukrainians will be able to receive “basic social assistance”.

Some categories of Ukrainians, including pensioners, can receive “basic social assistance”, the amount of which varies depending on which group a person belongs to.

This is stated in the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers.

“The goal of the new initiative is to provide additional financial support to those who need it the most in the face of economic challenges,” the article says.

According to the draft resolution, additional payments will be available for the following categories of citizens:

  • low-income families
  • large families
  • single mothers
  • internally displaced persons (displaced persons)
  • persons with disabilities
  • families receiving temporary assistance for children whose parents do not pay alimony or whose whereabouts are unknown
