Defender Kazakhstan national team Lev Skvortsov assessed the results of the season for “Aktobe”and also spoke about his expectations from the Aktobe team before the start of the championship, Sports.kz reports with reference to Meta-ratings.kz.

“Before the season, I thought that Aktobe could become a champion. But at some point, something went wrong for the team, and the guys merged at the end of the championship. But in any case, Aktobe has assembled a strong team that is ready to fight for the highest places,” Skvortsov said.

Last season, Aktobe took third place in the Kazakhstan championship. Igor Leonov’s team scored 43 points in 24 games, scoring 39 goals and conceding 26. Astana was in second place with 46 points, and Kairat was in first place with 47 points.
