A 24-year-old Kirov resident faces a prison sentence for stealing scrap

In the Kirov region, a criminal case regarding the theft of scrap at the Kotelnich station was sent to court, the Kirov Regional Department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for Transport reported this.
Transport police have completed their investigation into the theft case. The accused is a 24-year-old man from the Kirov region who worked in a transport company. He stole about 900 kilograms of scrap metal from the Kotelnich railway station. The man did this from August to September. He had access to the station territory and to the place where property was stored. He carried the scrap metal by hand and loaded it into his car, and then took it outside the station and handed it over to a metal collection point.
