During the last massive air attacks by Russia, the Ukrainian Air Defense Forces destroyed all the Kalibr cruise missiles launched by the Russians. This indicates the loss of effectiveness of this type of Russian weapon.
This was stated by the spokesman of the Naval Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Dmytro Pletenchuk, during a briefing at the “Ukraine” media center.
He noted that there are eight Russian Caliber carrier ships in the Black Sea, which are stockpiling missiles when they are not attacking.
However, according to Pletenchuk, the use of these weapons separately does not give the Russians the desired results.
“This is a dangerous, but not so effective weapon. Its effectiveness has significantly decreased,” he noted.
