Regular Champion W.B.A. light heavyweight David Morrel (11-0, 9 KO) shared his expectations from the fight against the interim champion WBC David Benavidez (29-0, 24 KOs), Sports.kz reports with reference to Tribuna.com.
“The fight with Kalajdzic was my first at the new weight. But that's no excuse. I need to work harder. I'm going to focus on the next fight.
Against Benavidez you will see the best version of me. I've been waiting for this battle for a very, very long time. Mentally I’m 200% ready,” Morrel told Fighthype.
The fight will take place on January 25 in Las Vegas.
