The Russians need shelling rehearsals, as they intend to strike our infrastructure this year.

This was stated by the aviation expert and leading researcher of NAU Valery Romanenko on the broadcast of the Yedyny Novyny telethon.

According to him, such rehearsals help the Russians practice tactical techniques aimed at breaking through Ukrainian air defense. One of the methods is the use of obstacles to kill radars, which is possible only in front-line cities.

“Another option is to exceed the air defense channel when more means of destruction arrive than the air defense can repel – it seems that this is the method the Russians practice,” added Romanenko.
