Border checkpoints on the border of Ukraine and Moldova have temporarily suspended their work. Accordingly, throughput operations do not take place.
Andriy Demchenko, the spokesman of the State Border Service of Ukraine, announced this on the air of the telethon.
“If we talk about the border with Moldova, the checkpoints are not functioning, and transit operations on the Transnistrian segment are temporarily not carried out there”Demchenko said.
He also informed that the passenger flow at the border decreased compared to the summer period. During the previous day, 80,000 people crossed the border. On weekends, this number can reach 100-105 thousand people per day.
