NASA and Microsoft will create an artificial intelligence chatbot that will make it easier to access and understand scientific data about the Earth. The tool will be called Earth Copilot and will be able to answer various questions about our planet, writes The Verge.
To create such a chatbot, NASA will integrate artificial intelligence into its data warehouse, allowing Earth Copilot to reference this information to answer questions such as:
- “What was the impact of Hurricane Jan on Sanibel Island?”;
- “How has the COVID-19 pandemic affected air quality in the United States?”
