American fighter John Jones (27-1) this morning, Kazakhstan time, defended the champion title UFC in heavy weight from the attacks of a compatriot Stipe Miocic (20-4), reports Sports.kz.
The fight between Jones and Miocic for the UFC title ended in a knockout
Their fight became the main event of the UFC 310 tournament at the Madison Square Garden arena in New York (USA). The fight was scheduled for five rounds, but did not reach the final bell and ended with Jones winning by knockout in the third five minutes. Video of the full fight is below.
Let us add that in the co-main fight of the tournament, Brazilian fighter Charles Oliveira (35-10) defeated American Michael Chandler (23-9) by unanimous decision.
