It can’t measure heart rate or count calories, but the ring fits a full-fledged LCD screen.
Casio presented its first smart ring, and it turned out to be truly original. Essentially, it's a tiny digital watch that fits on your finger and tells the time, writes The Verge.
The design of the new product is inspired by the legendary G-Shock 5000. The dimensions of the gadget barely reach one inch, but at the same time a full-fledged LCD screen fits in the ring. It runs on one battery for up to two years, which can be replaced if it runs out.
The ring also received three functional buttons, water protection, quick switching between two time zones, a stopwatch and a timer with a light indicator – when the time is up, it will start blinking. The body is made of stainless steel…
