The most active wolf hunt is underway in the Slobodsky district

The Ministry of Environmental Protection of the Kirov Region monitors the number of wolves in the forests of the region.

Wolves not only eat other animals, but also carry dangerous diseases, so it is important to control their population. Since the beginning of the year, hunters have killed 224 wolves. The leaders were hunters from the Slobodsky district, who shot 29 predators. In second place are the Shabalinsky hunters, who killed 18 wolves. Third place was taken by hunters from the Luza region, who accounted for 17 wolves.

Phalenian hunters showed excellent results, killing 16 wolves. In the Bogorodsky district, 13 were caught, and in Afanasyevsky and Sanchursky – 12 predators each.
