According to the National Center for Health Statistics, women file for divorce two-thirds of the time. And it’s interesting that when spouses have higher education, 90% of divorces are initiated by wives.
Here are ten surprising reasons why women decide to get divorced:

A 2014 study found that infidelity is one of the leading causes of divorce. Approximately 20-40% of divorces are caused by adultery, although it is often just a symptom of deeper problems in the marriage and not the underlying cause.
