Tim Cook talked about what Steve Jobs was able to do during his lifetime, which few people can do.
Some of Tim Cook's advisers warned him against working with Steve Jobs in the late 1990s. Jobs then invited Cook to join Apple when the company was going through “not its best years.” However, he ignored this advice and, following his intuition, agreed to what he later called a “once in a lifetime opportunity” to learn from a “creative genius.”
In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Cook answered a question about what lessons he learned from his time with Jobs, and one that stands out is the fundamentals of emotional intelligence. Cook learned from him to change his mind and not defend past views, forgetting about his own pride.
