Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) launched the 3×3 hockey championship, the tournament starts on December 19, Sports.kz reports with reference to Rsport.ria.ru.
This was reported in a press release.
The first season will feature eight teams, divided into two divisions. The first will feature Omsk Avangard, Astana Barys, Ufa Salavat Yulaev and Magnitogorsk Metallurg. In the second – Novosibirsk “Sibir”, Chelyabinsk “Traktor”, Minsk “Dynamo” and Kazan “Ak Bars”.
In the KHL 3×3 Championship there will be two types of applications: for a tour and for a season. There are ten players per tour (two goalkeepers), and at least one player in the application for the tour must play at least 200 matches in the KHL during his career, or at least 80 matches…
