For the first time in a month and a half: cucumbers have become cheaper in Ukraine
The number of offers has increased on the Ukrainian market.
IN Ukraine there is a decrease in prices for greenhouse cucumbers. One of the reasons was the rapid increase in the market supply of imported products produced in Turkey.
This was reported by the analysts of the East Fruit project.
They noted that cucumbers from local greenhouses almost did not reach the market, which is due to the seasonal factor.
Thus, as of November 15, wholesale prices for greenhouse cucumbers were in the range of UAH 70-100/kg ($1.70-2.42/kg), while a week earlier this vegetable was sold for UAH 100-125/kg ($ 2 .42-3.03/kg).
Most sellers do not rule out that in the coming weeks the prices of imported cucumbers will continue to decrease due to the gradual increase in the supply of these products on the Ukrainian market.
