Sometimes we get too focused on getting suds while washing dishes, but this is not a necessary process.
We are always “rejoiced” when, while washing dishes, we see the appearance of soap bubbles, since this is confirmation of interaction with fat. However, one expert notes that it could also mean you're using too much dishwashing liquid and “wasting money.”
“Many people overestimate how much soap they need,” says cleaning expert Maffetta Kruger, who has more than 20 years of experience in the field, in a commentary for Better Homes & Gardens.
According to him, excess soap solution can leave a residue on the dishes themselves, which is why they will need to be rinsed additionally.
