An increase in the incidence of influenza and ARVI observed in the Kirov region on November 19

Specialists from the Kirov department of Rospotrebnadzor continue to monitor the epidemiological situation in the region. Current information about the incidence rate appears on the department’s website.

Based on the results of the 46th week of 2024 (from November 11 to 17), an increased incidence of ARVI and influenza was observed in the Kirov region: the rate of increase in incidence was 9.4 percent higher than the results of the previous week. At the same time, the weekly epidemiological threshold has not been exceeded.

However, Rospotrebnadzor emphasizes that the disease season continues. The best way to protect yourself from the effects of the flu is to get vaccinated. Also, residents of the Kirov region are urged to stay home if they show signs of illness, and also not to forget about the rules of hygiene.
