The Russian commander lied to the generals about the successes at Liman – GUR
The division commander invented battles on the outskirts of Yampolivka and broke through to Torsky.
The commander of the 67th motorized rifle division of the Russian armed forces lied to the generals about the success of the invaders near Liman in the Donetsk region.
This was reported to the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
According to intelligence data, the day before the commander of the Russian 67th Motorized Rifle Division reported to the commander of the 25th Army of the Moscow Military District, Major General Yusupov, about the alleged successes near Liman.
“In order not to suffer reprisals for the losses caused by the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine, the commander of the Russian motorized riflemen lied to General Yusupov about the alleged battles on the outskirts of Yampolivka and the invaders' breakthrough in Torsk, which is not true“, the GUR statement says.
