Ukraine expects additional sanctions against Coral Energy in the near future – UNIAN
Ukraine is always in communication with Western partners on the issue of sanctions.
Sanctions against companies that are key to ensuring the operation of Russia’s shadow fleet, in particular Coral Energy (the new name of 2Rivers), may be introduced in the near future.
Ukrainian Presidential Commissioner for Sanctions Policy Vladislav Vlasyuk stated this in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.
“I think we will be able to implement this very quickly (we are talking about Coral Energy – ed). As of now, there are almost 100 tankers under the sanctions of partners. We cannot yet legally sanction tankers, but we plan to correct this situation. Companies that operate the fleet , there are about fifty under sanctions from partners around the world. Some are also under sanctions from Ukraine, for example, Sovcomflot. As for Coral Energy, I don’t think this is a problem…
