In Kirov they refused to fill the skating rink on Teatralnaya Square on November 19

Residents and guests of Kirov are warned that there will be no ice skating rink on Teatralnaya Square. This statement was made by the chief architect of the city, Irina Prozorova, in a commentary for radio “Kirov Grad” (16+).

According to the city administration, during the winter season of 2024-2025 there will be no traditional skating rink on the central square of the regional center. Instead, a food court will be installed near building No. 2 of Vyatka State University, which will include five catering points, food trucks and tables. In turn, a large skating rink will be built on Spasskaya Square, said Irina Prozorova.

Earlier, the mayor's office reported that the preparation of Theater Square for the New Year began with the installation of a Christmas tree.
