Team DPRK played with Uzbekistan in the match of the sixth round of the third stage of the qualifying tournament 2026 FIFA World Cupreports Sports.kz.
The meeting took place in Vientiane (Laos) and ended with the victory of the national team of Uzbekistan – 1:0. In the 44th minute, Abbosbek Faizullaev brought the Uzbek team ahead with a successful penalty kick.
In the 83rd minute, Umar Eshmuradov received a red card for handball in his own penalty area. A penalty was awarded against the Uzbekistan national team, but Chong Il Gwan could not beat goalkeeper Utkir Yusupov.
Uzbekistan is in second place in qualifying group A with 13 points. The DPRK is in sixth place with two points.
