F-16 for Ukraine – Denmark will transfer two more batches of fighters – UNIAN
Since August 2023, Denmark has been involved in training Ukrainian personnel to fly these fighters.
Now Ukraine has received six aircraft from Denmark, but in total, 19 fighters should arrive.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said this at a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky in Kyiv.
The Danish Prime Minister noted that there are no changes in her country’s plans to transfer a certain number of F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine.
“Six were delivered. This was the first shipment,” Frederiksen.
She also noted that since August 2023, Denmark has been involved in training Ukrainian personnel to fly these fighters.
