Iran has joined the space race along with the US, China and Russia, launching the first private satellites into space. Thus, the country entered the world of space research, writes Newsweek, citing the Tehran Times.
In particular, the privately developed satellites Kowsar and Hodhod were launched into orbit by the Russian Soyuz rocket, which also carried its two Ionosphere-M satellites and others.
