Germany will consider sending missiles to Ukraine – UNIAN
The Free Democratic Party of Germany wants to bring up for discussion in the Bundestag the issue of sending German Taurus missiles to Ukraine.
The leader of the parliamentary faction, Christian Duerr, told reporters about this, writes Tagesschau. According to him, Germany should follow the example of the United States of America in allowing long-range strikes against Russia. The parliamentary group will submit a corresponding proposal next session week.
Free Democratic Party leader Christian Lindner, who was fired from his position as finance minister by Chancellor Olaf Scholz earlier this month, also supported sending missiles to the Ukrainian Armed Forces:
