Olympic champion in judo Eldos Smetov spoke about his plans, Liter.kz reports with reference to Aqtobe TV.
Smetov spoke about his friendship with the famous Japanese judoka Naohisa Takato and does not hide the fact that their low level of English prevents them from understanding each other. That is why the athlete strives to learn English.
“I think that in the future we will talk freely with Takato. Because now I'm studying English. God willing, at the beginning of next year I will go to study in London for four months. I’m leaving to study English,” Smetov noted.
The judoka plans to give an interview in English to the International Judo Federation (IJF).
