The Russian army is advancing towards the Ukrainian salient in the Kursk region: details from ISW

Russian troops recently advanced to the main Ukrainian salient in the Kursk region. Fighting continues in the area.

This was reported by analysts of the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).

Geolocation footage for November 19 shows that Russian troops have recently advanced to the northeast of Nizhny Klyn. Also the so-called rOssian media bloggers claimed that their army had advanced near the forest of Olhivka, Kremyany and on the eastern outskirts of Plekhovo. However, ISW found no evidence to support these claims.

It is noted that Russian troops were conducting offensive operations in the Novoivanivka and Sverdlikovo areas.
