In Ukraine, general mobilization of the population continues, but some categories of men of military age have the right to a deferment. Lawyer Dmitry Franchuk, in an interview with RBC-Ukraine, said whether it is possible to submit the relevant documents to the TCC and the joint venture if the summons has already been served.
“Receiving a summons does not automatically mean you are drafted. If you have a legitimate reason for a deferment, such as education, child care, poor health, etc., you have the right to apply for a deferment,” he explained.
