A deep storm cyclone is moving into the Kirov region

The telegram channel “Amateur Meteorology in Kirov” writes that the deep storm cyclone “Quiteria” has reached the North-West and West of Russia.

The cold front of the cyclone will arrive in the Kirov region on Friday afternoon. Precipitation is expected: rain, which will turn into sleet and then into snow.

Already on Thursday the wind will increase to 16 meters per second, and on Friday its speed will reach 17 meters per second due to the influence of a cold front. Rainfall will also continue overnight on Thursday. Light snow is expected in Kirov at night.

A line of squalls appeared as part of the cold front – a rare occurrence for the second half of November. Squalls may also appear in Central Russia, in the Volga region. The forecast is constantly updated and changing.
