Zelensky emphasized that he “cannot legally recognize any occupied territory of Ukraine as Russian”.
Ukraine does not have enough strength to regain the borders of 1991 by military means. Therefore, Ukrainians are ready to return Crimea with the help of diplomacy.
This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyi in an interview with the Fox News channel.
“I have already said that we are ready to return Crimea diplomatically. We cannot lose tens of thousands of our people to die for the sake of returning Crimea… We understand that Crimea can be returned diplomatically,” the head of state said.
