Blackouts in winter will depend on four factors
Ukraine is forced to rely, among other things, on old equipment, which is quite unreliable.
The length of winter blackouts will depend not only on Russian missile attacks and weather, but also on the performance of those power plants that remain operational. Energy expert Gennady Ryabtsev spoke about this in an interview with UNIAN.
He noted that eliminating the destruction after Russian missile attacks, depending on their scale, can take from several days to several weeks. For example, after the shelling on August 26, the power system was restored for 13 days, and during this period there were rolling blackouts.
