There is a simple test that can help detect lung or heart disease, says Dr Ahmed, a social media-famous NHS doctor in the UK.

It only takes a few seconds: bring the tips of your two index fingers together so that both nails touch. It's similar to making a heart sign with your fingers.

There should be a small diamond-shaped window at the base of both nails. If it is not there, you need to see a doctor.

This window disappears with the symptom of drumsticks. In this condition, the fingertips thicken and the nails bend in the other direction and look like an upside-down spoon.
