Not only teachers: who will receive a salary increase from January 1
The payment program is implemented in two stages.
From January 1, 2025, secondary school teachers will start receiving a monthly supplement of UAH 1,300, and from September 1, the amount will increase to UAH 2,600.
This is stated in the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 1286.
The updated system of additional payments applies to all teachers of state and municipal secondary schools. In particular, the following payments are provided:
- teachers who conduct classes in basic subjects
- psychologists who provide support to students and work to improve their psycho-emotional state
- leaders of clubs that organize extracurricular activities and additional education
- teachers of extended day groups who deal with children after school
All teaching staff, regardless of seniority, qualification or location of the school, will receive additional payments.
