Ukraine is actively working to integrate the environmental standards of the European Union into all aspects of the reconstruction and transformation of its economy, and the country's recovery after the war must be carried out exclusively according to “green” principles.
This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the comment of the Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine Svitlana Grynchuk.
According to her, the period of difficult challenges and destruction can be used to create a new, more ecological economy.
“We have made the final decision to become a member of the European Union, so we must build our economy in accordance with EU standards. Reconstruction without green approaches will lose its meaning,” she said.
