FT reported on an intercontinental ballistic missile strike by Rubizh, not Oreshnik — Ukraine
On the morning of November 21, the Russian army struck the Dnieper with an RS-26 Rubezh intercontinental missile, not an Oreshnik.
This is reported by the Financial Times with reference to a high-ranking Ukrainian official.
The authors of the British publication emphasize that the day before, the dictator of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, said that his army had launched an experimental hypersonic missile “Oreshnik” to hit the factory in Dnipro, which was previously a top-secret missile-building facility of the Soviet Union. Allegedly, the reason for the attack was the permission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to use advanced Western weapons on targets in Russia.
“However, a senior Ukrainian military official told the Financial Times that it was an RS-26 Rubizh missile, which has a range of up to 6,000 kilometers,” FT writes.
