On the night of November 22, a fire broke out in a multi-story residential building on Svitlytskyi Street in the Podilsky district of Kyiv. As a result of the fire, one person died and two others were injured.

At 01:51, the State Emergency Service received a report of a fire on the 7th floor of a 9-story building. Rescuers extinguished the fire at 02:47 on an area of 10 square meters. m.
During the extinguishing, the body of a man born in 1965 was discovered. Two women received minor injuries, but refused hospitalization. Rescuers evacuated 28 people from the upper floors.
11 units of equipment and 53 rescuers were involved in extinguishing the fire. The causes of the fire are being investigated by law enforcement officers.
