Pensioners are in the top 3 in terms of savings on bank deposits in Kirov on November 22

The Kirov region was among the leaders in terms of deposits among pensioners. This is stated in a study by experts from the financial platform “Finanuslugi”.
As of October 2024, 15.4 percent of all Russian depositors are pensioners. They own 17.4 percent of the total deposits. On average, a pensioner keeps just over 507 thousand rubles on deposit. This is 17 percent more than the average.
The average amount kept on deposit by a Kirov pensioner is 2.4 million rubles. Only in Moscow and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug are deposits of pensioners even larger – 2.5 and 2.7 million rubles, respectively. At the same time, the neighboring Perm Territory is an outsider in this indicator: local pensioners keep an average of 1.1 million rubles in their accounts.
