Kazakh skater won silver at the Chinese Grand Prix – Figure skating
November 23, Kazakhstani figure skater Mikhail Shaydorov skated his free program superbly on Chinese Grand Prixwhich allowed him to take the final second place in the competition, Sports.kz reports with reference to Zakon.kz.
The leader of the Kazakh team received 276.17 points from the judges on the second day of the Chinese competition, despite his brilliant performance. In the short program, Shaidorov had 93.21 points.
The 20-year-old Almaty resident lost only a little to the Grand Prix winner, Japanese Shun Sato (278.48). In third place was the French figure skater Adam Xiao Him Fa (252.53)
Thus, Mikhail exchanged his last year’s “bronze” of this tournament for the “silver” of the current battles.
