NBU answered whether utility prices will increase in 2025 – UNIAN
The NBU predicts that tariffs will remain unchanged over the next year.
The National Bank of Ukraine expects that in 2025 tariffs for gas, heating and hot water supply will not be revised. However, from 2026 tariffs will have to be gradually increased. This is stated in the “Inflation Report” of the National Bank of Ukraine for October 2024.
“The NBU expects that during 2024-2025 the current tariffs for gas, heating and hot water supply will not be revised. However, given the difficult situation in the energy sector, it is predicted that from 2026 a gradual reduction of these tariffs to their economically justified levels will begin,” – the report says.
