Improving the management system in the Armed Forces — Zelenskyy named Ukraine as the main goal
According to the president of Ukraine, generals should be in the trenches and see their soldiers.
The changes in management approaches in the army, indicated in the Plan of Internal Stability of Ukraine, envisage, in particular, the reduction of bureaucracy in the army.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this during his speech at the 3rd International Conference on Food Security Grain From Ukraine in response to a question from Suspilny.
Zelenskyi added that this is currently one of the main tasks of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi.
“And this is very important. An officer must see a soldier. A general who has not been in the trenches is not a general to me, despite his experience. With all due respect, the most difficult situation today is on the front line, in the trenches. Generals must be in the trenches. That's how war,” the president noted.
