Fitness trainer Alexander Karpov, in a conversation with SE, warned that winter jogging can harm the body, Sports.kz reports.
“If you're just getting into running and have never trained in the warmer months, it's best to avoid winter races,” he said.
According to Alexander, otherwise the benefit will be minimal, because the body is not prepared for physical activity in cold weather. He also noted that running in winter has many contraindications.
