January holidays 2024-2025 will no longer be the same as before

Global changes await Russians

The Russian Ministry of Labor has announced new rules for weekends and holidays for the next two years.

Now Russians will have more time to relax. For example, in 2025, the New Year holidays will last from December 29 to January 8. This will allow people to rest and gain strength before the start of the new year.

The May holidays will also be divided into two periods: from May 1 to May 4 and from May 8 to 11. This will allow us to celebrate both Spring and Labor Day and Victory Day.

December 31, 2025 will be a holiday so that people can calmly prepare for the New Year.

In 2025, Russians will have many days off:

• from January 1 to January 7—New Year holidays;
• from February 22 to 23 – Defender of the Fatherland Day;
• from 8 to 9 March – International Women's Day;
• from May 1 to May 4 – Spring and Labor Day;
• from 8 to 11 May – Victory Day;
• from 12 to 15…
