ATACMS, Storm Shadows – the WSJ named a “fat” target for a strike in the Rostov region – UNIAN
The Institute for the Study of War has compiled a map of about 200 military targets in the range of these missiles.
One of the potential targets for attack by Western ATACMS and Storm Shadows missiles is in the Rostov region in southern Russia. According to The Wall Street Journal, there are at least four airports within their reach.
“Rostov is the landing site for many troops transported on large military aircraft, equipped, loaded onto buses and sent to occupied eastern Ukraine. A strike in the region could be devastating and scatter a key staging area for the deployment of Russian troops,” the publication said.
