Research firm TrendForce has shared an “inside” regarding Apple's plans to release the first MacBook models with OLED displays. They have already appeared in the iPad Pro M4, but have not yet reached laptops.
According to the source, Apple is preparing to start production of MacBooks with OLED only in 2026–2027. First, the new displays will get firmware, and then it will be the turn of the MacBook Air. It is expected that the main suppliers of OLED matrices will be LG and Samsung.
