Today, the decision to create the post of military ombudsman must be made by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
This was stated by a member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence Fyodor Venislavsky in an interview with Radio NV, answering the question that for the second year now, President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky has been promising to create the position of a military ombudsman, but this has not happened.
