There are two factories in Russia for the production of Geranium-2 (Shahed 136) UAVs, which produce hundreds of drones every week. A source from the Ukrainian government spoke about this, The Guardian reports.
It is noted that the enterprises are located in Tatarstan, approximately 1,300 km from the border with Ukraine.
The publication shared that the Russians launch drones across Ukraine almost immediately after their production. Although easier to shoot down than high-speed missiles, they overwhelm air defenses and can cause serious damage.
