Winter will not reach Russia: Roman Vilfand gave an accurate forecast for the holidays

In the autumn of 2024, residents of Russia were faced with unexpected weather changes: despite the relatively warm weather in September, snow had already fallen in some regions of the country.
In particular, snow fell in the southern regions of Siberia, as well as in the Irkutsk region. This came as a surprise to local residents.
The scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center, Roman Vilfand, suggested that the snow could persist until the onset of winter.
Forecasters note a significant shift in the timing of the first snow: if previously it was observed in November, now it can be seen in October and even in September. This is due to global climate change and weather unpredictability.
