Delicate and light cake – a recipe for a coffee dessert from baking icon Mary Berry – UNIAN

Baking icon and celebrity foodie Mary Berry has shared her recipe for a cozy coffee cake that goes perfectly with a hot cup of tea on a cold evening.

As Ehrges writes, it will take only 10 minutes to prepare it and less than half an hour to serve it after baking. Although the recipe may seem complicated at first, Mary Berry says it can be easily adapted.

“Coffee and walnuts go especially well together, but you can use other nuts for this recipe if you prefer,” the baker noted.

To make her cake you will need:

  • butter – 100 g;
  • powdered sugar – 100 g;
  • flour – 100 g;
  • baking powder – 1.5 tbsp;
  • walnuts – 50 g;
  • eggs – 2 pcs;
  • coffee granules – 1 tbsp.
